One question that I have often received as we prepare to return to the celebration of public Mass is the following..."Are you going to continue to livestream the Masses & other prayers like we've been doing in the time where public Masses have been suspended?"
The answer to that question is, yes. For the time being (how long exactly I can’t say for sure), we will continue to livestream the celebration of Mass & share other prayer opportunities with you even after we have returned to the celebration of public Mass. I know that for a while, many will not feel comfortable returning to Mass just yet. Those in high risk groups or who interact with those in high risk groups may continue to choose to stay home. While some may choose to begin to enter into some semblance of public life again, others will choose to not partake in the public worship of the Church. That is completely understandable & please know that while we are beginning a slow return to the celebration of public Mass, the obligation to attend Mass is still continuing to be waived.
What that means is, that though you are certainly welcome to attend Mass, if you choose not to for your own health & safety or the health & safety of others YOU HAVE NOT COMMITTED A MORTAL SIN. Please do what you feel is best for your health, safety, & wellbeing. We will be here in public for you as well as livestreaming online. Either way, in either place, hope to “see” you at Mass. Have a blessed week!
