“Repent & Believe in the Gospel.” This coming Wednesday we will hear those words proclaimed again as we enter into our annual Lenten observance. As we enter into these days of prayer, fasting, & almsgiving, I wanted to share with you some of the opportunities we have at the parish to help us draw more close to God & embrace His invitation to renew our lives in & with Him:
ASH WEDNESDAY MASSES: Mass on Ash Wednesday with the imposition of ashes will be celebrated at 9:00 am & 7:00 pm
STATIONS OF THE CROSS: The Stations of the Cross will be prayed on the Fridays of Lent at 7pm in the Church. Please note that there will NOT be Stations of the Cross on Friday, March 17th.
Besides our normal Saturday Confession time, the Diocesan Evening of Confessions will be on Wednesday, March 8th from 5-8 pm. Confessions will be available in every parish throughout the Diocese during that time.
ANNIVERSARY MASS: This year we celebrate our 175th anniversary as a parish family! On Sunday, March 12th at the 11:00 Mass we will welcome Bishop Malesic as he celebrates Mass to kick off the celebration. There will also be a brunch following Mass that all are invited to, watch the bulletin & the announcements at Mass for more details about RSVPing to that celebration.
