Over the course of the past many years, our parish family has made a tremendous difference in the lives of so many people. W We are getting ready to celebrate 175 years of faith & life at St. Pat’s in just over a year, in 2023. We have only been able to do that through the generosity of so many, those of us who call St. Pat’s home now & those who have given & sacrificed so much so that we can be here & worship today. The story of our parish family has been & continues to be a story of life, faith, & generosity. Over the course of the upcoming weeks we will be helping to continue to tell that story as we engage in an Increased Offertory campaign, “Alive in Christ: Building Community & Growing in Faith.” At St. Pat’s, our campaign will be held in the next 2 upcoming weeks, Sept. 12/13 & Sept. 18/19.
As each of us has been a beneficiary of the generosity of others, now that story is ours to continue to tell. What has been handed on to us, we are now called to hand on to others. I invite you to consider how you might be able to participate in our upcoming campaign. Though the goal of this campaign is to increase our offertory, this is not about money. This campaign is meant to help us & empower us to be able to continue the great work that has been done at & by the parish. The story that will be told in the future is dependent on the story that we tell today. Please know that this is a 100% totally voluntary campaign. We are certainly well aware that many of us are giving all that we can & for that we are most certainly grateful. An increase may not be possible at this time for you & we certainly understand that. But we invite you to consider whether an increase, no matter the size, is at all possible. The story of our parish community has been a great one.
Please consider how you might be able to help us continue to tell it well. Have a blessed week!
